Serumpun Research Institute is established to initiate studies on the interconnectedness within the communities of the Nusantara region, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, Thailand, Singapore, and the Philippines, with a focus on their local wisdom. By promoting research on these topics, the institute aims to bring local values to the forefront and introduce them to people all over the world. This initiative will highlight the beauty of Nusantara’s local wisdom, particularly in terms of interconnectedness and shared values. Through research, discussion and publication activities, this research center will attract global scholars’ attention to the cultural richness of the Nusantara region. This journal platform is one of our way to reach those goals.
